I have been a big fan of the Dave Matthews Band for many years now, so I chose to make them the topic of my website. Hope
you enjoy it!
Let me begin with a little background information...
The band began in 1991 out of Charlottesville, VA. The band began with Dave, Carter, and Leroi. Added shortly after were
Stefan, Peter Greisar (who later left the band), and Boyd.
Their first album was released in 1993, and was titled Remeber Two Things. For a complete listing of DMB's work, visit the
discography at the top of the page. This first album was a huge success considering it was released independently. Following
this success, the band was able to sign onto RCA's label. In 1998, the band released the album "Under the Table and Dreaming"
which debuted at number one on Billboard's listing, a major accomplishment.
One of the reasons behind DMB's strong fan base is that from the beginning they have encouraged fans to actually record their
shows. Fans feel appreciated by the band, and tend to be incredibly loyal to these guys.
